Meriç learned English in Adana. He taught English in New York. Now he’s on stage for his stand-up show in English. All logical steps!
A vice principal by day and a comedian at night, he is grateful to his students and family for the support- read: the amount of material- they provide. He just hopes the people involved do not find the recordings, especially his sons.
But the classroom and the living room are just the tip of the iceberg. Meriç’s jokes move from the oddities of everyday life to the private, darker thoughts people usually keep to themselves. Spoiler: If you’re nostalgic about MTV-not only in a musical way- you will relate. Be there!
