Globetrotting Italian comedian Filippo Spreafico is coming to Istanbul with his irreverent and surreal stand up comedy show.

Filippo Spreafico has been Italian for many years, and he is completely unapologetic about it. He even has a passport that proves it. His show is about identity, where to purchase it and how to cook it properly to impress your friends. OK, that’s the Italian part. But what about Rhapsody?

According to the dictionary, a rhapsody can be: an effusively rapturous or extravagant discourse; a composition of irregular form having an improvisatory character; or, an unusually intense, emotional literary work. Sounds about right!

Expect all of the above packed into a comedy show.

Expect smart, thought-provoking, and disarmingly surreal comedy from an exciting new face of European comedy. Expect an Italian Rhapsody.
